Ambedkar Jayanti is celebrated every year by the people with great enthusiasm more than like a festival on 14 th  of April in order to commemorate the birthday of Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar and his contributions for the people of India. It would be 126th birthday anniversary celebration in the year 2017 to commemorate his memories. It was a big moment for the people of India when he was born in the year 1891. The day has been declared as a public holiday all over the India. Like ever before a respectful homage is paid by the President and Prime Minister (including other political parties leaders) of India every year to his statue at the Parliament, New Delhi. Indian people worship him like a God by keeping his statue in their home. At this day people make a parade by keeping his statue in front, they also enjoy dancing using dhol. भारत त्योहारो का देश है, यहा कई धर्मो को मानने वाले लोग रहते है और सभी धर्मो के अपने अपने त्योहार है. इस प्रकार यहा साल भर मे हर दिन किसी न किसी धर्म को मानने वाले लोगो के लिए खास होता है. ठीक इसी प्रकार 13 अप्रैल का दिन सिख्क लोगो के लिए खास होता है. यह समय ही कुछ अलग ही होता है, खेतो मे रबी की फसल पक कर लहलहाती है, किसानो के मन मे फसलों को देखकर खुशी रहती है, तो वे अपनी इसी खुशी का इजहार इस त्योहार को मनाकर करते है.  वैसे इस त्योहार के मनाये जाने के कारण को लेकर कई अलग अलग मान्यताए है, इस दिन सूर्य मेष राशि मे प्रवेश करता है, यह भी त्योहार मनाये जाने का एक कारण है. कहा जाता है कि सन 1699 मे इसी दिन सिक्खो के अंतिम गुरु, गुरु गोबिन्द सिह जी ने सिक्खो को खालसा के रूप मे संगठित किया था, तो यह भी इस दिन को खास बनाने का एक कारण है. इस त्योहार की तैयारी भी दीपावली की ही तरह कई दिनो पहले से शुरू हो जाती है, लोग घरो की सफाई करते है, आगन को रंगोली और लाइटिंग से सजाते है, घरो मे पकवान बनाते है. इस दिन पवित्र नदियो मे स्नान का अपना अलग महत्व है. सुबह के समय से ही स्नान आदि के बाद सिक्ख लोग गु
